2017 is almost over – thank god! It has been a horrendous year on a personal level but a wonderful year for discovering new up and coming authors as well as welcome returns of some of my favourite authors.
So to see out the end of this year I thought I would present to you (if anyone actually reads this!) my top 20 reads of the year.
In no particular order –
Hunted (The Voices Book 2) by G X Todd
The Pearl Sister by Lucinda Riley
The Cursed Wife by Pamela Hartshorne
Sleeping Beauties by Stephen King & Owen King
Eighteen Below (Fabian Risk #3) by Stefan Ahnhem
The Doll House by Phoebe Morgan
Her Frozen Heart by Lulu Taylor
Edge of Darkness by Karen Rose
The Kept Woman by Karin Slaughter
The House on Foster Hill by Jaime Jo Wright
My Mother’s Shadow by Nikola Scott
The Vanishing Season by Joanna Schaffhausen
The Hiding Places by Katherine Webb
The Rules of Magic by Alice Hoffman
It was no easy feat narrowing it down to 20 but all these books are more than worthy to be on this list!
Now on to 2018 and I hope it will be a better, kinder year and I already have a massive To Be Read pile to see me well into 2018 🙂 Happy reading and Happy writing.
Happy New Year
